I think first half Shelley showed us why Tuttle transferred away. He looked poised in the pocket and made some good decisions. Second half showed a little bit of why the fan base was sad to see Tuttle leave. There were some obvious growing pains and some poor passes even a couple that could have been picked off.
My big take away from this game was a huge positive from our offensive game plan and quarterbacks coaching. It’s nice to have depth. It is even better to have coaches that can prepare a backup quarterback to play at this level in just a week. I don’t know that we’ve had that talent on the coaching staff in the past.
I stopped listening to Gunther over this but how dumb does he look now? He literally bad mouths Huntley and then Shelley most of the off season and is all up on Tuttle. Everything I have heard outside of sports radio said Shelley was the solid two on this team.
We were all so excited about him when he was recruited. I’m sorry it had to come this way but it was nice to see what he’s capable of in a real game situation. He’s great for this system and could be a real asset in the future. Especially with a decent quarterbacks coach
Okay teepee, give up the insider info. I want it all. What’s the real reason Tuttle left?
Shelley it is a fact.
Someone said Tuttle’s dad was the reason he left
Helicopter parents is a hard pass. Glad Utah didn’t have a Heaps of a problem.
My opinion but any 18 year old with that perfect a social media presence is sharing passwords with parents or a paid consultant. He was campaigning for starter since his junior year.
