Just heard about this on the radio. Heard USC mentioned as well, but that’s not in this article.
Yep, assistant coach from USC involved as well, Tony Bland.
What?!?! Arizona too!?!?! Who would have thought?!?!
so much sarcasm…
Assistants are going to roll on their HCs is my guess. Sean Miller = great recruiter but bad coach. I can only hope.
How can we compete with USC and Arizona when they’re bribing their players and their families!?!?!?
We total can bribe them. Free Pepsi, oh wait, that’s probably more of a deterent…never mind.
We can sneak them in Coke from the Provo area.
what’s odd is the coaches were pushing kids to OTHER schools. This was about the AAU affiliation, shoe companies involvement in them and the money floating around the system.
What a surprise that there is criminal activity surrounding the recruiting of AAU athletes. I guess we know something of the reasons behind coach Ks rant a couple of years ago. That system is rotten to the core.
this^
The FBI will dive deep, and I wonder what they will find by the time they hit bottom. If you think this stops with 4 assistant coaches…
Sounds like Louisville is already in their sights.
NCAA are involved with it as well. Wouldn’t be surprised if they condoned it all.
Also I doubt they punish any of these schools. I always go back to the Sandusky thing. What was done to children and covered up by a University President, AD and a Head coach and you barely punish them? NCAA are nothing but pimps.
The only other question I have is when are they going to pull back the curtain on Football.
I’m guessing that the NCAA is probably thinking that some times its better to let sleeping dogs lie.
