The other day I caught a soundbite from Sitake on the radio.
He was discussing a RB’s pass catching abilities and the contributions he could make in their, wait for it . . . . . . . . . . . “THROW GAME!”
I’m delighted to hear this abomination make its way into the lexicon of BYU coaching vernacular. Lord knows the toll it has taken on our offense over the last half decade.
byu’s football program bears the mark of Kyle Whittingham from top to bottom.
Let’s just hope their throw game becomes as bad as ours.
I hope for worse, but I am not sure if that is possible.
I posted this the other day, but the only highlights they have is of the TE’s and RB’s catching the ball. I think they hope to take advantage of that matchup. The problem is, their RB’s and TE’s are completely unproven.
I think their offense takes a big step back this year, especailly when Mangum starts to force the ball to WR’s.
He will throw a ton of picks, BYU will start off bad, then will then dominate the back half of their schedule, win 8-9 games and proclaim how amazing Kalani is.
It’s a perfect schedule for them.
This formula of winning 8-9 and saying how great the coach is seems so familiar to me.
Really? When’s the last time we scheduled 8 garbage teams in a season?
It is a joke about BYU and how this same thing happens. Every. Damn. Year.
Lol. My bad. I thought you were talking about Utah.
I’m a little hurt by that. My politics might be different but my ute fandom is not a question. Now I need pie to console myself but oh wait I don’t have pie. So great day = ruined. *sobs into his Utah pillows.
Run down to Village Inn and buy yourself a pie.
Pfft, I wish. Work was crazy and now I’m driving up to a b day party.
I was about to suggest we start calling Bronco “Ocho Cinco” since he had that record like three years in a row. But then he got nine wins, so nevermind.
It is brutal. They might start 2-5 or 3-4.
Folks said that about them last year at this time; they did better.
Very true. No one had Michigan St, Arizona and Miss St being absolute garbage.
Their toughest games are at home. So, bully for them.
Good for them. It couldn’t happen to a better bunch of folks.
