Was he with the team prior to this week? This was obviously his first game – According to the utahutes.com bio he redshirted at USU in 2018 but that’s it.

My son met him at the Utes Specialist’s Camp this summer.  He has tried to make it as a kicker at Utah State and I believe BYU as well.  He said this was his last chance to make a team.  Really happy for him.  Nice kid.

He had some hang time on a few kicks. That one that ended up at the 50 or something still kills because it really shifted momentum back.
