Most of the top 9 in the CFP rankings are on the road this weekend. These are the only 9 teams that still have a chance to make the playoffs (teams with 1 loss or less).
Based on Massey’s predictor, there’s only a 10% chance of all 9 teams winning this weekend. Utah’s 98% chance of beating Colorado is second only to Georgia’s 99% chance of beating Ga Tech.
Ohio St, Clemson, Georgia, Alabama, Oklahoma and Baylor are all on the road.
Point is, this could be one hell of a weekend for a few surprises that could really shake things up on the playoff landscape. Alabama (72% chance of winning), Oklahoma (61%) and Minnesota (44%) would be most at risk of losing.
All I know is my butt will be in the NEZ Saturday a little early to pay respects to all those guys that chose to come back and blow this conference up this year. It’s been an AWESOME past few months…
