Three PAC12 teams and four west coast teams in Elite 8

I’m too lazy to check, but I bet that hasn’t happened before.  Also, no east coast teams in the elite 8.

Way to show PAC12 teams.  This is great for the conference in many ways.

It has happened once before, in 2001.  Still, an awesome tournament.  Had BYU scheduling wrench not matched Oregon up with USC in the 16, maybe we would have 4 PAC teams in the 8 as USC is a buzz saw right now.  It’s impossible to know though as it would have changed multiple teams’ path.

And just think we took them to Double OT in the pac-tourney.
We were not a dumpster fire as most felt. Just couldn’t rebound and close out winnable games.
Martinez was off charts in that game till he fouled out. They couldnt keep up with his speed and athleticism. This is the one player we have to keep going forward.
