PARK CITY, Utah – The Utah alpine skiing team returns to action on Sunday, Jan. 23 at Park City Mountain Resort for a stretch of three consecutive race days.
Today’s giant slalom will be part of the RMISA Invitational, and will be followed up by another GS day on Monday, Jan. 24 and slalom on Tuesday, Jan. 25. Both Monday and Tuesday’s competitions will serve as the alpine half of the Utah Invitational. Each day’s corresponding runs will begin approximately at 9 a.m. and fans can watch from the Eagle Race Arena.

I was able to watch the team train at PCMR yesterday. As a former ski racer, believe me when I say these guys (and gals) are really damn good.
BEIJING – A program-record twelve current and former members of the Utah skiing program will be representing their respective nations at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, now less than two weeks away with the opening ceremony scheduled for Friday, Feb. 4.
Spread across six countries, the Utah skiing Olympians include Tomas Birkner (Argentina), Kevin Bolger (United States), Keely Cashman (United States), Snorri Einarsson (Iceland), Madison Hoffman (Australia), Luke Jager (United States), Sophia Laukli (United States), Mo Lebel (United States), Novie McCabe (United States), Katie Parker (Australia), Roni Remme (Canada) and Katie Vesterstein (Estonia).
