Which of the following would you prefer?
1) Play an 11-1 USC team in the conference championship with an opportunity to crush their playoff chances
2) Play Oregon in the conference championship while the 2 CA schools are left out and relegated to a mid-tier bowl with no chance to win the conference
(I know I’m getting ahead of myself with thinking about this, just having some fun)

Beating USC again would lower them to a lower bowl. I think Utah beating a ranked opponent is what you want to do.
Beating USC who is 11-1 in the CCG would probably give them a New Years six bowl still.
W and no injuries
For sure #1 beating USC again with a higher ranking!! Anyway to shutup Riley is a good thing in my mine as well, overrated.
Two great choices.
I’d really prefer to play UCLA if at all possible. I don’t like our chances versus USC on a neutral field.
Funny. I think we match up better against USC than UCLA.
Same, I think we match up the best with USC, then UCLA, and UO after that.
That might be true but I think that UCLA has regressed a bit since we played them earlier in the season. Just seeing how Zona torched them time and again last weekend, the motivation of playing a team that already beat us plus late season improvement from the Utes makes me think that we’d have a great chance against them. Personally, I just get a sense of foreboding regarding USC. Seeing how they lost against us, they’d have the moral high ground, so to speak, and the motivation to beat us.
2. Eff the traitors.
I just want Utah to win the next two games and see what happens from there 😅
#2. If I can’t have UO, I want UW. Don’t want LA in it at all.
Can’t play Washington sadly. They can get in but it would be against USC.
It’s remarkable how weak USC’s P12 schedule is, missing both UO/UW.
I suspect they get a game from UCLA, but ultimately beat them & reach Vegas to face us.
