Ok this explains the weird timing of it all. I honestly thought this happened already with the new four game rule thing. Still sucks the timing close to USC game.
Exactly. He must really hate his situation here. I can’t help but wonder if giving him a few snaps in these last few blow outs would have gone a long way to helping him feel valued and want to stay and compete for the job next year. Especially considering our recent history of starting an under classman over an average returning senior.
