USC’s defense has not really improved over the year in my opinion.

Avg points given up after each game.

      1. 14

      2. 21

      3. 19.67

      4. 18.25

      5. 19.6

      6. 18.67

      7. 22.14 (Go UTES!) 43 points

      8. 24

      9. 25.22

      10. 24.4

      11. 26.27 (GO BRUINS!) 45 points

      12. 26.33 (GO FIGHTING IRISH) 27 points

I think Utah goes off for 35 or so, it will just come down to Utah’s D at that point.

And they gave up 28 to Stanford, 25 to ASU, 37 to Arizona, and 35 to California. I don’t think they have the defense to cover for any offensive woes. And I’m praying for Utah’s D to provide plenty of WOE!

      Home vs Away avgs

      Utah

      Home

      Scores – 46.67

      Gives up – 16.5

      Away

      Scores – 32.17

      Gives up – 23.67

      USC

      Home

      Scores – 45.3

      Gives up – 21.28

      Away

      Scores – 38.6

      Gives up – 33.4

While Utah has lost three on the road. USC has only played five games away, seven home games. Utah is an even six and six.

If we’d played Florida and Oregon at home, chances are we’d have won those games.

      Toughest road game

Utah against Oregon. Other tough road games Florida, UCLA. Avg loss by 5.3.

USC against Utah. Other tough road games Oregon St, Arizona, UCLA. Though they won all three they were one score games (8 points against Arizona)

Can’t wait until tomorrow, I’m hoping Cam is back to Bad Moon Rising status.

With Rising, Kinkaid, and Phillips banged up, and Thomas no longer with the team, I’m not as confident as you are that we’ll be seeing the same Utah team that beat the Trojans last month.  This is going to be difficult game.
