SALT LAKE CITY – Sitting in second heading into the turn in the Pac-12 standings, the Utah men’s basketball team looks to pick up its first road win of 2023 in conference play this Thursday, Jan. 26, when it squares off against Oregon State at 9 p.m. (MT) on Pac-12 National/Mountain/Oregon.
The Runnin’ Utes look for their first win in Corvallis since Dec. 31, 2018.
For all those in Portland, planning to head to the game later, I’m happy to offer drinking establishment recommendations.
And, don’t miss Block 15 while y’all are down in Corvallis.
We’re 10-0 in Quad 3/4 games this season, meaning we don’t have a single bad loss.
Any hope of the Utes getting back on the bubble rests on that trend continuing. Have to beat the Beavs tonight and take care of business against the Bay Area schools next week. Everything else is quad 1 or 2 games.
How close is Provo State to dropping to quad 3? They are really struggling in the WCC this season. Never sorry to see them lose as their current coach is not one I really like, but these conference losses are dragging down our SOS.
BYU is currently #96. Quadrant 2 Away games are categorized 76-135.
So pretty safe to keep on cheering against the Cougars.
Ha. Indeed.
Nervous about the game in Corvalis tonight. We should be able to win, but have struggled in the past there and lost a lot of games we really should have won.
Would be our weakest loss if we are upset and be damaging to tourney chances.
It’d be nice to see Worster hit his season averages tonight…..It’s stark how different his stats are home vs away.
I believe BC has a field-day…..Just gotta have our 3-pt D show-up & we win comfortably.
