So excited about our D this year. Always solid but this could be one of our best yet!

deep but inexperienced. An injury to Lloyd would potentially be devastating and not just because Utah would be losing an All-American. None of the Calverts, Tufaga, Ellis or Reynolds has played a down of college football and Mata’afa/Mercier have not looked ready for starting roles prior to this season.

The Utah D is so dependent on excellent LB play that it is essential Lloyd stays healthy at least long enough for his heir apparent to emerge.

Yeah the Utes are pretty deep with a lot of thirsty guys. This defense just might be the best defense on paper. Barring injury, probably one of the fastest defenses Utah has ever had. Speed at such a high level that guys are moving to offense. 

It’s going to be fun seeing BYU skinny dipping in the pool full of pirhanas. There I said it. Crazy speed.
