KeymasterGreat? How many stars? What are his skills? I’m all for getting as many QB’s as possible at this point.

ParticipantPer Rivals, he’s a mid-level 3-star QB, with offers from Cincinnati, Mississippi St, UCF, West Virginia, and Purdue.

ParticipantNot in the 2026 class.
The only other one that I know of is Thaddeus Thatcher, from our 2027 class.

ParticipantEverywhere I’ve read lists him at 6’1″

2008 National Champ
ParticipantThe height isn’t really the issue, whether just under or just over 6 feet. 165 pounds won’t play at the P4 level

ParticipantLots of protein and carbs with another 4 inches of hair and we might be pushing 185 next year.

ParticipantHeh, I was 6 ft 4 and 160 soaking wet in high school. My parents did not allow me to play football because they knew I would break in half.
If he can’t get up to at least 180 he shouldn’t be played QB for us.

ParticipantDoesn’t move the needle. I hope he’s got those Tyler Huntley diamond in the rough qualities.

ParticipantNot overly concerned with his height and weight. What I like about Dampier, Ficklin, Johnson is they all fit a type. Athletic, fast, strong arm dual threats.
Beck appears to have a type of QB he wants for his system. Time will tell, but so far Beck doesn’t seem to pursue square pegs. He gets QBs that fit his system instead of fitting his system to QB ability.
