Give me offense, defense, special teams.
Offense- run, run, run. Use up the clock.
Defense- drop 8 in the box
Special Teams- Hopefully no big mistakes.
and Protect. The. Ball.
Offense: Probably going to be raining and somewhat cold. WSU is soft up front. Pound them them with Wilmore, Brumfield and DHC. Keep the ball out of the WSU offense’s hands. High percentage throws. Control the clock.
Defense: Bring pressure early and often. Try to fluster the QB and throw off his timing. If he has time to throw you’ll suffer death by a thousand cuts. If this doesn’t work, drop 7 in zone and keep everything in front.
Special teams: Only kick field goals if the distance is very manageable. Don’t wanna destroy Redding’s confidence by missing a few long difficult kicks. Plan on 4 down territory between the 40-25 yard lines.
Hit Anthony Gordon every chance we get. It’s going to be hard to get pressure on him because the release is so quick with the air raid offense, but we need to rattle him into making poor decisions.
I want at least three holding calls called on Wazzu. We won’t see one I imagine.
Pound ball-control into the offense’s head all week. Cannot give their offense any extra chances to score, and if it does rain which it sounds like it’s likely, we cannot have the RB’s turning the ball over. Leave as little points on the field as possible.
Depending on who you ask we should just lay down and cry.
This often doesn’t work. 😂
If only you could tell my kids that.
Yeah stupid weiner kids.
Same plan as at USC except for:
1. Score TDs in the redzone
2. Don’t give up TD passes of 29, 31, 77 yards
3. Have a non-PAC12 crew working the game
I think cjd is correct about the team’s game plan.
My personal game plan is to remember to eat more than 2 tortilla chips at the tailgate so that I don’t get too drunk.
Rain. Lots and lots of rain.
