For me it’s Jaylon Glover. He’s built like Zack Moss with moves like Covey.
Peppins. I think he can make an immediate impact, as Covey did as a freshman.
Lander Barton. I think he earns a lot of playing time immediately. And I love that we have three different responses to this question already. That tells us that we’re not pinning our hopes on one good recruit.
I’m in agreement with Glover. Although I think his time be limited behind Thomas and Bernard for this year only. 2023 will be his break out year.
I think he’ll be the solid #2 before too long. He and Bernard will share time for a while, but I wouldn’t be shocked if he’s our breakout star by season’s end.
If Barton, Glover, and Peppins all make the immediate impact and contributions we are hoping for…it’s going to be one helluva year!!!
I believe they will, and that we’re in for one amazing ride this year! Choo choo!!!
Don’t forget about Ricky Parks as well.
I definitely haven’t forgotten about Parks. Thomas is special and Barnard has put in a ton of work that I think will get rewarded. If Glover is as advertised, I expect him to get more and more reps as the year goes on and he’ll be #1 going into next year. Just my prediction and I could be way off.
What’s the story with Nate Johnson, that elite 11 4* QB that signed just before 3* Brandon Rose?
I only hear talk of the Rose kid.
Johnson doesn’t join the team until Summer.
I would LOVE to hear @OnlyU chime in on this thread. There are a few obvious names, curious what suprises are out there though.
Everyone is high on Glover, but what happened to Parks? He was highly touted as well and has a year under his belt.
Ricky Parks will absolutely have a say in this.
