I watched that game last night thinking “Where has this play calling been all year?!”. I mean, did any of you know we even had Tight Ends before yesterday? And then we FINALLY let Mitch fake a punt. I’ve been waiting for that ever since he got here!
It’s so infuriating seeing what we can do with some creativity. Even our defense was creative last night. Crazy how when we blitzed, we actually got pressure on the QB, right?
The thing that p**ses me off is next week our offense will go back to run, run, long ball to a WR and our defense will rush 3 and give the QB all day to throw.
I’m not asking for a season full of triple reverses, HB passes, and fake punts but can we PLEASE see something different? Is that too much to ask for?
