      Yes.  It is a blindside block and the Pac 12 calls that type of hit very close to the letter of the law.  SEC?  Probably not.

      They’d probably eject Wilson for targeting! 

      But seriously, I think it would be a penalty. Isn’t the rule that if a player’s back is facing their own endzone you can’t blindside them like that?

        I thought that block was against UCLA. That explains why I could never find it. With all the replays on the pac12 network I was hoping to catch this game.
        I just remembered it was my intro to Travis Wilson and despite all the frustrations it kept a soft spot in my heart. Think that was his first game action was it not?

      Yes, it’s an illegal block to the back. It was discussed during the game and after. WTF? Are you a Call fan?
