Pac 12 network did a segment about Hallandale trio today and all 3 of them were in their practice gear and pads. I mean, this could just be for the segment, which it probably was, but if Zack is really injured that badly, id think hed be in a sling at least and not in pads. I still don’t believe he plays this week but I am more optimistic seeing him without anything on
Was the footage from this week?
Yes…Pac12 special with Yogi yesterday. Zach is doubtful for this week still IMO but then with the bye and Oregon St I wonder if if it makes sense to hold him out until ASU to make sure he’s 100%. Should be able to beat OSU without him right? That said, he’s a real “football player” so might be tough to keep him off the field until then.
I’m surprised no one here is talking about Covey redshirting.
Yes we “should” be able to beat OSU. Then again I thought UCLA would lose by 32 points to WSU. I poo poo’d the Covey redshirt idea, but now that you mention it, I’m considering it more. He is obviously not 100%. His speed and agility are far behind what they were before the injury.
Well Moss being out is a slightly bigger deal than covey. But I agree surprised there has been no thread about Covey redshirting. Imo, if we have somebody that can field a punt, should be minimal impact without covey.
Not everyone here reads Cougarboard.
I do not. Is that what they’re talking about?
I do not. Is that what they’re talking about?
My response…Yes. It’s been around there for a couple days now.
Oh. I don’t go there. Not interested at all.
Saw it mentioned on Utefans yesterday, but no one had anything to back it up.
ONLYU- Does that mean the Moss injury was only just a grade 1 and not that serious ?
