Unpleasant questions for sure. It wouldn’t be the first time Utah chose the wrong QB to start.
Rose looked good to start. Those drops and mistakes just make your jaw drop as well. The play calling didn’t improve either. Still very disjointed in what kind of system Utah wants to run. -

The money for these athletes is where I hear Harlan has been meddling.

The recruits can tell you…for money.

Harlan wrote the most recent deal with Whittingham. I do not believe that at all. I think Harlan is meddling with Player deals. Which has lead to the problem.

It is wild that people don’t realize the nuance of the current situation. Harlan made quite a quagmire of contracts and money. Yet we trust him to bring in the next great coach?
Wildly idiotic and emotional.

The rate at which Utah wants to throw is alarming. It was like 40-50 pace if they could sustain drives. But they can’t so it turns out like it has.

You really trust Harlan to rebuild the Utah football program without them both?
Harlan needs to go and Harding before I even care to entertain removing Whitt from Utah football.

Wasn’t great. Made some throws when it mattered though. But I couldn’t help but think wow he goes down and protects himself. Despite the offense he is forced to run he still makes decisions to protect his body. I remember to start the game they announced him and said he was nursing injuries. He had limitations for sure.
I can’t help but compa…[Read more]

I will be an ass. I certainly considered this as a possibility and got completely roasted for it dating back to early part of 2023.

I have never understood the Whittingham 2.0 statements. That sounds pretty great to me. Sustained growth for a very long time and regular winning seasons with good wins. The offense has been rough for Whittingham but he has had flashes of brilliance.
The bring in Jay Hill crowd don’t make a lot of compelling arguments for me. Especially when i…[Read more]

Why have I never realized this? I think I remember it having something to do with Notre Dame.
Good hell Harlan is insane. I guess after back to back Rose Bowls with Rising you kind of see why. But the value seems to make ZERO sense after two years of this shit show at QB. Ludwig doesn’t even take all of the blame if I am being fair.

I am hearing rumors that the bald guy. The QB analysis guy Mike Bajakan is taking over as OC.
I looked up Northwestern stats for when he was the play called 2020-2023:
Northwestern averaged 23 ish PPG in 2020, 16ish in 2021, 13.8 in 2022 and 22.1 in 2023

Harlan is supposedly a guy that gets booster donations. While I think he has done well with NLI transition. Basketball is completely held back by him. Smith was a horrible hire.
