  • Have not priced tickets this year but in the past, $5 tickets have been a available near the intersection out front. Then games other than the best of the year, move down to great seats after 5 minutes.

First need is leadership. Covey on offense and Lloyd on defence will be very important replacements.

Group of 5 at the game, part of a much larger group to go to the parade, Disneyland, and San Diego. Still in Cali with zero issues, knock on wood. We have had to get use to wearing a mask anywhere indoors. Both small kids and 65+. Still need to fly home this weekend. Most vaccinated.

Goodness, where is this news. I don’t want to be on my way.

I also would like to depend on subject matter professionals. However, we do not always have a culture that allows science to speak freely. Galileo and Copernicus could have help us understand the solar system better if the culture at the time would allow them to speak up. Currently, many health workers are very reluctant to question the…[Read more]

  • I am hoping that the airlines are very intent on getting over the weather and COVID situation from Christmas weekend and get back to what they do. I also have a tight schedule on Friday getting to California and non refundable hotel reservations. We need to get people back to work as soon as their symptoms end if this variant does in fact have…[Read more]

Isn’t this on any TV that is on?

  • It is a culture of activists that want to eliminate everything that is not of their interest. Not yet but at some point we might quit listening to the vocal minority and get back to choice. Football will remain very popular.

  • If I was a Y fan I think I would like the shirt, I like the retro stuff. However, Young did start the UofU, but he wanted to do it with tax dollars instead of church dollars so control soon became secular after Y move out of the territorial governor’s office. Young lost interest in what he did not 100% control hence the U became what it is. The…[Read more]

Not just one of the first tailgaters, he organized the first ever tailgating at Utah. The first years I think it was $10 a year. Tom was awesome to listen to on the radio. He made the most divisive topics funny leaving both sides smiling. The exception was the lady Ruzicka and her organization he called the Magpie Forum. That lady taught…[Read more]

This seems most likely. I was thinking the nickel had evolved mote into a corner at Utah because they play so much man coverage. That would mean a safety would step into nickel which makes so much more sense than moving someone to CB. The safeties can play man but do not do so as much as the corners. We may see more zone than we are accustomed…[Read more]

Question, as they declare, do they get their evaluation and have a future deadline to unwind and return? Still, I think it should be considered common place for athletes with degrees move on even to the business world. I believe I support any decision including the transfer portal.

  • The sighing day will likely stay in December because a number of HS and JV transfer athletes travel in early January to to start school for spring practice. They need to confirm their deal and have time to move.

However, coaches can simply finish the year they start with a rule. You would think the NCAA and the P5 conferences would support the…[Read more]

  • Coach Smith gets more out of less than any coach in memory. Also a good sign, players that stayed seem to have improved much more than previous years. Our defense is the best in recent memory. Smith’s strategy seems to be let the players have freedom to be themselves but hold them accountable for results, especially effort. We really don’t…[Read more]

  • It is more than scary if the team is going home for Christmas. They should get the leadership committee together then the whole team and ask the question, how much do we want to risk getting this game taken away.

I wonder how many TAMU players tested positive or how many have just been near someone that tested positive?

  • Imagine what you would have if no one complained. My question was more how many times do they need the answer from Whitt himself? Are there too many roses in the Utah story this year?

  • Odd occurrences in sports media reports are often looked at in context related to the local rival. I have lived in the Stanford/Cal, Az/ASU, Oklahoma/Oklahoma State footprints and I believe it is quite common to comment/tease/complain about a rival. But I can understand it can be annoying to folks with duel interests. Calling out media when it…[Read more]

  • Goodness, can the local media allow Whitt and all of us to enjoy the moment.  The Trib is fresh out of things to report so they let us know Whitt has not told his boss he has plans to retire.  The many times he has addressed the question is not enough.  Maybe there are those in the local media that just can’t let the U to enjoy sucess unless it…[Read more]

  • Sadly in the M&A world, that includes lots of health care companies, businesses do strange things to look attractive to others like cut costs. Middle management and long term supervisors often get cut because it often takes time for the impact to show up. This expertise is greatly needed for irregular upsets and to train newer staff but fot the…[Read more]
