There is a giant chasm of talent between the best of the pac/acc/big12 and the sec/b1g top tier teams.

Rising played hard, missed a lot of opportunities, and made a couple of terrible decisions on that last drive. I’m not upset, I feel bad because he probably just lost himself a bunch of money in draft position right there.

But his avg was still less than any other back. I still think he needs to find another team if he wants to show his skills. He’s second string (at best) on a team that hardly ever runs the ball, and when they do it’s usually their qb running it.

It occurred to me that Ludwig is kind of on the old side. He’s basically said (IIRC) that he’s done when Kyle is done. So… who’s next up? I hated the idea of retreads before Ludwig worked out fantastically well, now I’m okay with it.

I’m just assuming that this flurry of signings in the last week or so must mean we’re pretty much all tapped out schollie wise. Is that a fair assumption?
If so, I think we did a good job of adding depth where it needed to be added. WR, S, and of course PUNTERRRRRR.

It was nice to see the offenses move the ball. The few other times I’ve sat down to watch the spring game the offense has seriously struggled to move the ball on at least one of the teams. That wasn’t the case this time. The offenses didn’t dominate though, which is also good.
