Meh… until today Thomas was the only fumble prone guy. The coaches are getting the job done. We showed a ton of improvement in many ways today.

FWIW I was happy with what I saw out of Jackson. He was patient with his decision making when running the ball. Fixing fumble issues has got to be the easiest thing a coaching staff can do.

Yeah, if they held onto the football we win by 30+. Other than the ball security issues we played a really good game.
but yeah, I don’t see how we beat USC at their place. I think WSU is a lot worse than anyone will admit, and they didn’t have their best player for most of the game.
If Olaseni starts against USC, Rising will not make it out of…[Read more]

First off, the aplogy… well, I don’t know about apology, but I need to give Harding kudos. The offensive line blocked much much better today. Olaseni is still hot garbage, but the blocking was mostly excellent in both phases of the game. Great job coach! The caveat: WSU is not a good team at all. They might be the worst team we’ve played all…[Read more]

chinngiskhaan replied to the topic This is how the Brighton vs. East game ended last night (Barton Sack) in the forum Football 3 years, 10 months ago
He certainly has the frame to be a defensive end. Listed at 6 ft 4. That’s quite tall for a linebacker no?

I guess I don’t fault Brewer for asking for a redshirt (not sure I believe that he did, but it doesn’t really matter whether he did or not)…
But I will say that I totally understand why Whitt would have said no. We’ll have more than enough bodies in the QB room next year without Brewer, one or two will probably transfer after spring ball would…[Read more]

I mean, I understand why he left. I think some people are acting like doing what is best for you from a career standpoint (I mean, he’s not playing in the NFL, he just isn’t, but maybe he still wants to try) is somehow immoral.
Things didn’t work out for Charlie at Utah. I think it was as much the team’s fault as his, but he did was he thought…[Read more]

chinngiskhaan replied to the topic Who benefits the most from the switch to Rising? in the forum Football 3 years, 10 months ago
mmmm… I think there just aren’t many targets to go around. When our QB can’t take a second to think with the ball in his hands because there is a defender in his face, that kind of limits the options in terms of who to pass the ball to.

chinngiskhaan started the topic My actual thoughts about this year's team and going forward in the forum Football 3 years, 10 months ago
First off, I want to say that I am really happy that Rising is QB1 now. That’s not to say that I think he is way better than Brewerenly, or that I didn’t like Brewerently as a person or whatever, I just really like what Rising has done. He lost his job due to injury, was beat out because Ludwig promised Brewerently that he’d start (which is why he…[Read more]

I spoke with Larry at a low key former athlete event. He was just a regular guy. He and Andre Miller both seemed totally chill

everything that is happening to our team rn.
I said all offseason not to buy into the hype. I said all offseason that Brewer was more likely to be a Bentley than a Huntley. I said all offseason that this year would be more excuses from fans/coaches/players about the offensive line, and that it wouldn’t be any better than last year (same coach,…[Read more] -

Overall I will say this. That game means nothing. We aren’t playing for a playoff shot. We are playing for a Pac12 championship, and at least we know now that Brewer is bad bad bad.
– Our offensive line is bad. Slightly less bad when the defense goes into prevent mode, and Rising is at QB. Harding is definitely getting canned by the end of the…[Read more] -
