Don’t get me wrong. I’m fine with disliking Baylor on general principles. They just had nothing to do with a 7th year QB not throwing the ball away in week 2 or the Utah coaching staff deciding that a guy who can’t protect himself or throw the ball with any consistency was the best option tonight.

There is absolutely a correlation between expectations and performance when it comes to enjoyment. Only thing I can suggest is to let it be your expectations and don’t let an echo chamber convince you that you are wrong. Posting “16-0 baby, we win it all” may get you upvotes but it won’t feel good if you actually start believing it.

put in a QB who is capable of throwing the ball. Wilson couldn’t have done worse than under 50% completed and 3 picks. Hell, Rose or Huard could have done at least as bad but I’m sure they weren’t available since they “don’t know the offense”

Just for reference, that was a top 10 paid Head Coach (public schools), and a top 15 paid Offensive Coordinator and a top 15 paid Defensive Coordinator that had two weeks to prepare. Just sayin’

I’d say it’s his right ankle based on the way he got rolled up on that first (2nd?) pass. Even the big Singer throw was to the wrong spot so he’s having dual issues between his plant leg and grip.
