Ludwig has been an OC for a long time. If he has the kind of season we all hope he does, there’s no guarantee he stays for longer than a year or two.

Or maybe he doesn’t like Ludwig. If it is about this kid and they land him, that would be huge. However, he is a pro style QB and Whitt has been very open about his preference for dual threats.

I agree. I don’t see anything wrong with how Whitt has handled it. I’m just not excited about a Lidwig hire.

Ludwig was only the OC. Not the HC. He can only be credited with what the offense does. Now, if those were all 51-50 wins (they’re not), then yes, it’s the offense winning the games and he gets the credit.

That’s true. Those 4 on defense are huge losses though. I think our LB’s are good for next year but I expect the safeties to take a step back.

I like the kid and hoped he would stay but for some reason I thought this might happen. Wish him well.

I would guess that means they’re working on scheduling a game (or two) or maybe he’s saying we’ll see them in the playoffs next year.
