There’s no way college football can play in the spring. You can’t have them play in the spring and then expect them to play the next fall. It’s too violent of a sport and their bodies need time to recover. Also, the networks didnt sign up for spring ball when baseball, basketball and hockey are in full swing. It would fragment their viewership and the advertisers won’t want to pay as much. It will start in fall, later than normal but in the fall. Obviously it’s going conference only.

So does the PAC 12 move to a 10 game season? That way everyone has 5 road and 5 home. If so, who does Utah add, Stanford or Oregon?

I can’t wait to hear from BYU fans about how they would have won so it’s basically a win for them.

You think they will not lose any viewers?

In Laramie, McBride used to tell his players to keep their helmets on while on the sideline. He told them people in the stands would throw urine filled balloons at them. Scheduling a game in Laramie was one of the dumbest things Chris Hill did.

The problem with “going outside the bubble” is you run the risk of having a situation like Colorado. He came in, didn’t even have a ton of success on the field, but things appeared to be trending in the right direction. He then gets poached by Michigan State. If Utah does go out side the bubble, they may have to pay a lot more money. Whitt is unusual in the fact that he’d rather stay here than go to another school, as long as he’s getting decent pay. MS would work along the same lines because he wants to be at Utah. Utah isn’t everyone’s dream job.

Brian Johnson might be a good fit. If I’m not mistaken he doesnt have much OC experience though. Two years here a long time ago amd I think one year at Houston.
