There’s nothing official but there are rumors on X that another team (Oklahoma State from what I’ve heard) has offered him a big NIL deal. The two “insiders” on this board have also both said that he could be gone because of NIL.

My guess is that JJ won’t make any type of announcement until after the bowl game, which is smart on his part.

This would make no sense to me. He seemingly loves it here, fans love him, and he’s the starter on a team that loves to run the ball. Either he’s getting a MASSIVE NIL deal that Utah can’t even compete with, or we’re getting another RB that would potentially take his job.

Was literally just about to post that 😂. I have a hard time getting excited for WR commits. I can’t name one since Carrington that has done anything at Utah. I can’t figure out how we compete with teams like Oregon for any of these kids.

Utah has proven to develop and find absolute diamonds.

You’re right, but we will now develop these type of players for bigger programs. We’ll coach them up and turn them into NFL caliber players and then teams like Michigan or USC will hand them a bag of cash to go play for them.
