I had sone back in the day, but they have been harder to come by. I think maybe online is your best bet. I also scored some flex fit hats (my second favorite to the true fitted ones) at Kohl’s several years back.

We let it get closer than it should have been, but huge win for the Utes! Smith showed why we were excited to get him today. Still kind of a mess at points, but the team stepped up big. Weird calls, but that is just the nature of P12 refs. Proud of this team. Hoping we can use this to build some momentum and start getting wins on the road, too.

Jamal Anderson and Ben Moa were both great down there if I recall. Moa in 2003 was a special player at that combo TE spot.

There has basically never been a point to bowl games other than 1 more chance to see your team play. We shoehorned the national championship into them, but they have always been exhibitions (in fact wasn’t it pretty recently that they started counting bowl stats as official?). Even under the BCS, only 2 teams played for true stakes. I think we all need to accept it. I miss New Year’s Day bowl season, but that kind of died when ESPN bought so many bowls and staggered them. I keep watching the Utes though, and hopefully we will ve in the playoffs a fair amount if the time.

Agreed. Today was the first time we really saw him finishing his drives instead of penetrating and kicking. Loved seeing him step up. I think the rest of the team needs to move more to give him targets or clear the lane. What we saw from Deivon Smith today was VERY encouraging. I was really happy Ben Carlsen stepped up and knocked down some huge 3s for us, too.

Keba fouled out on the last meaningful play with like 2.8 seconds left.

I think because his ankle/leg are still banged up. We saw JJ’s heart but not full talent this year. He has been hurt basically all year. I expect him to be a lot better next year, especially with a credible threat to pass with Rising back there.

He has looked ok to pretty good for most of the second half of the season.

It was pretty clear early on that Utah wasn’t playing to win by a lot. We were just trying to get a lead and do what we needed to do. Given the state of the team, that seems wise. We were a turn over or 2 away from a loss. If you watched the throws Bottari did make, you could see how rusty he was. This was a win and call it kind of game.
