This is what Joe Coles reported on X.
Whittingham was especially complimentary of redshirt freshman RB Mike Mitchell, who stood out during media viewing session.

“Mike Mitchell. He’s not wearing pads today, but he did some really good things … he’s a guy that I think has a bunch of upside,” Whittingham said.Whittingham singled out USC transfer wide receiver Dorian Singer as the furthest ahead of any of the new transfer receivers, as expected.

“Dorian Singer looked really good today. He’s probably the furthest ahead of any of them. He’s got the most experience,” Whittingham said
Whittingham said Georgia Tech transfer cornerback Kenan Johnson stood out today. Johnson is in the running for Utah’s open starting outside cornerback spot.
Tao Johnson is making the switch from nickel back to safety as Utah looks to fill two starting spots following SIone Vaki and Cole Bishop’s NFL Draft declarations.

“He looked really natural there today and did a great job,” Whittingham said.
Utah is replacing two starting offensive linemen, Keaton Bills and Sataoa Laumea. Whittingham indicated after day one that Spencer Fano played right tackle with Caleb Lomu at left tackle. Michael Mokofisi at one guard spot, Tanoa Togiai at the other and Kolinu’u Faaiu at center.

TSPP had their best recruiting class yet. But they are only ahead because they signed 23 players where as we signed 18. If you go by 24/7, their avg high school players are 85.38, Utah is 86.71. They signed 2 transfers at 88.5 average, and we signed 4 at 88.75.
All those #s could change if either team picks up more.

They also fired the offensive line coach. (According to 1280)

My opinion Fano tore his in Sept and had surgery in Oct. So if he came back in August, that would be 11 months. So most players would be back by Aug, Sept., at the longest. (Normal ACL).

I copied and pasted part of a story, and the boom was part of it. Being a junior and hoping beyond hope he would stay for his senior season.

Makes me wonder if Reid is leaving? Cannot see him coming back just to be a backup. Also, I don’t see Barton switching positions, but who knows.

Yes, if Rose plays just 1 down, he loses it. He has already burned his redshirt year.

      The projected starters for the Sat game on the offense line are 6’1 315, 6’3 280, 6’2 290, 6’5 315, 6’8 320.
      Def line is 6’3 275, 6’4 255, 6’4 290.
      Light on the defense line.

Has been put out there that the buyout fee is 300 million. FSU has negotiated with ACC that they can pay that back with installment payments of $30 MILL over next 10 years. (Life of contract)

FSU is thinking with what the Big10/SEC pays above what they will get from ACC deal next 10 years, they will come out ahead over time.

First thank you for all the Volleyball and Soccer information,  I use it weekly to watch/keep up with both programs.  I’m just a bit confused on your meaning of “plans to negate two losses”? Could you explain?

      Thank you
