I saw a comment about a sprained ankle, but don’t know for sure.
I haven’t been a Jazz fan for years — more because I don’t like the style of ball that the NBA plays — but I have even less interest in them now Ainge and Smith are running the team.
I’ve read a couple of things recently that would indicate they’re looking at him. One thing I saw mentioned that the Seahawks are interested in him and that Pete Carroll was at the UW game specifically to watch him.
They’re currently 4/4. They “should” win their next 3 games (Liberty, Idaho State, UMass), but given the way they’re played poor teams this year that’s not a given. Their last game is against SDSU, so they could easily end up 7/5 or 8/4.
Definitely like those odds. The team needs to stay focused and not think they can coast through the season, but my gut right now tells me that Huntley and Moss and the rest of the senior leadership are a big help with that.
I’ve never looked at the Massey site much, but was interested to see what there’s a matchup tool section. According to that, Utah vs. UO would be a really close game with Utah winning 51% of the time. I realize that’s looking ahead, but thought it was interesting.
Coach Whitt’s plan all along was to play Bam for 4 full games. Not sure I would have put him in vs. UW, but it may have been the best place to let them know where he’s really at. Curious to see what the injury does to their plan to play him in the 4 games allowed for a redshirt.
I heard Moala was out for with a possible concussion and they decided to try and give him another week, but with Bam going down and him going in the O-line sure played better.
Mariner and Repp both getting some catches. USU back up at the beginning of the 4th qtr. Been an entertaining game to watch.
I happened to be out at lunch and heard them announce #5. What they said is that they’re announcing #1 and #2 on Thursday. So #4 will be tomorrow, #3 will be Wednesday, and #2 and #1 will be Thursday.
I’m more than mildly incensed. As much as I hate to, we may drop Dish and go back to Comcast. It would be a lot cheaper than what I’m currently paying for Comcast internet and Dish.
Leki Fotu was #5.
