Stability isn’t the same as quality, but it can certainly help. Who are college football’s most stable programs heading into 2021?

      15. Utah: 37.4 (20.0 coach stability, 9.7 roster stability, 7.7 performance stability)

forget about “an extremely stable program” that is loser thinking, I WANT TO WIN! I WANT UTAH TO KICK ASS, WIN PAC-12 OUT RIGHT AND MAKE IT TO THE PLAY OFFS AND THEN WIN IT ALL. I BELIEVE

First, Kudoz to ESPN.  I had all but abandoned their site since the entire CFB staff was canned and every article of interest was seemingly moved behind a paywall.  (ESPN is an entertainment creator not a new source)

Second, a look at the list and it doesn’t pass the smell test.  But hey, it is content…

*Conpiracy theory: Running a free article to make certain of the remaining Big12 teams look desireable to void the grant of rights owed by Texas and Oklahoma if the conference disolves.

Everything is capitalism. We can only blame ourselves.

That would be interesting to chart.  A high traffic, high generalized content producing but heavily staffed site that operates off add revenue (the Facebook model w/content creation) vs. the targeted audience (absurd percentage of SEC content), specific content but limited staff site that is PPV (the ESPN model since black Friday).

It seems to me the second model would work better for individual programs (ala 247) but at a conference or entire CFB scale the first would garner more gross profit but with the staffing the net may not be there.

Mission would also seem to factor and if I was holding myself out as “the brand of college football” the first model would seem to accomplish that goal more effectively as it makes my site the #1 resource of information.  But I don’t have shareholders…

All news media, other than the few that most people would call conspiracy theorists, are beholden to money interests. The news options provided are designed to control the populace, sports news being one of those options.
