Then he will throw for 300 yards against MIT and Grover tech and byu will sail off into the off-season hyping up next year’s team like nothing ever happened. They will also claim that they would beat us if we played again
The local media here is ridiculous. They had 5 BYU players ranked in the top 10 in 1280’s 60 in 60. Remember when I mocked that list and I was told I was under-rating BYU?
Nope. They are terrible. Anyone could see that. Even their hype videos were terrible. What makes me mad is that we didn’t blow them out.
BYU is really bad I just don’t know what to think about Utah. I feel like Whitt just doesn’t want to lose to them. Which is good it results in a win but it’s like put them to bed.
I think this has a lot to do with it. Whitt knows if we don’t turn the ball over, we will win. So, he plays conservative, avoids injury, gets through the game. It works.
Add in Huntley’s first real DI start, first road game, rivalry game (which is always weird), and the o-line still coming together, and I can see why we didn’t blow them out.
I keep thinking back a couple of years ago when BYU was crowing about getting Tanelui and Trinnaman, both have been busts. And saying how much better Magnum was than either Wilson or Huntley. I bet they would swap Magnum for Huntley about now. What a bunch of schumcks.
