  Last night sucked…I won’t recover until next Saturday at 1:30 when all of the sudden we have ANOTHER big game…what’s that FOUR in a row???
  
  Listening to a conversation in LAX earlier…guys talking about Washington and Washington St, guys asking if Utah held on…Talking about how crazy the Pac12 is this year…anybody can beat anybody
  
  Call it earned, call it timing, call it luck…I don’t care, I’ll take it all. We’re in and we BELONG.
  
  Walking around the Colleseum last night for the 2nd time in 3 years, playing in Eugene, in the Rose Bowl. Playing the 6 pm ABC game against USC for a leg up in the South…are you kidding me??!!
  
  Seeing our guys compete their asses off…having our team talked about EVERY week on gameday. Having big time teams come to RES every single freaking year. Taking recruits from USC, UCLA, Oregon etc.
  
  We’re seriously in the mix next year and the year after and the year after, etc. with the talent we have in the program and still coming.
  
  Man…who woulda thunk!!

  Agreed. And even though it wasn’t the final result I wanted, the game last night was good. Our guys showed well, had a chance to win at the very end. It was generally a good reflection on the pac 12 in prime time national TV and very cool that it was our UTES out there!
  
  Next up: the team that upset UW in our house. Fun times.

    Tyler threw again last week a couple of times but didn’t make the trip. Pain is gone but arm strength was down still and he didn’t feel like he had “much zip” on the ball. I would list him as 70/30 yes right now for ASU.
    
    Fitts didn’t feel right and probably made the right decision in coming off. I’d lean probable for Sat. after another 6 days of treatment…fingers crossed.
    
    Should know more tomorrow.

  Get the excitement for the future, BUT coaching needs to improve in several areas. USC was down 23 players and Utah lost with a 14 point lead at halftime.
  
  O-line play needs to get pass protection figured out. Multiple years with p**s poor protection.
  
  Clock management is always an issue.
  
  Relying on Juco players has worked at times, but shouldn’t be a constant.
  
  Utah should definitely have a 230+ lb running back that can pick up those short yards, and . 40% rezone production is embarrassing. Every game announcers talk about how Utah is terrible in the rezone, until that gets fixed Utes will never reach the next level.
  
  Finally, When a players knee hits the ground short of first down on a 4th down play, THROW YOUR F**KING CHALLENGE FLAG!

    It really doesn’t matter how many players USC is down. Their 2’s are all 4 and 5 star recruits.
    
    We had our share of injuries as well, don’t forget we went to their stadium with a back up QB! Don’t forget we put 4 O lineman in the NFL last year. Also, don’t forget this is our first year with a new offense (again, sadly).
    
    Not sure what JUCO players you are talking about that we are relying on, however, we are pretty consistent with the rest of the league in that regard.
    
    Whitt seems to never throw that challenge flag. It would be interesting to know if he has others consulting him on that or if he just relies on what he sees.
