Anyone surprised by NIT not picking up Utah?

We weren’t ranked anywhere close to the best 32 teams not in the big dance (and about 10 or so spots were automatically given to regular season conference champs who lost in their tournies).

Not just lost in their tournaments, but also weren’t chosen as at-large births in the NCAA Tournament (like Washington, Belmont, Nevada, etc.).

No. I’m not surprised. Disappointed but not surprised.

Yeah talking heads on 1280 the zoob said we should all be surprised. Then they kept trying to sell the surprise. Disappointed is what I would say is the most accurate description. Getting a first round bye in the P12 tourney just was a big nothing of an accomplishment this season.
