Best Tailgate Meal Ideas

I’m doing the main course this week at our tailgate. Probably the best one I’ve ever done was some awesome fajitas. This year I’m going to do french dip. That won’t take a ton of work or equipment, and will still taste good.  

I don’t have a smoker but many of those look/smell reaaaaly good. What are some other tailgate meal ideas?

Beer can chicken. 

Whole chicken put butter underneath skin. Salt and pepper for seasoning. 

Buy a good quality beer. Shove can in cavity cook low and slow 3-4 hours. Traegger grills makes this easy but you can use a barrel style grill as long as it has room because you cook it inverted. 

Enjoy the most moist chicken you will ever eat.

Raichlen has some of my favorite recipes but I like to modify things and make it simple. Mostly because I am lazy but I like simple flavors to. This recipe is good but more complex.
