ESPN

– Bonagura has us in the Alamo Bowl vs Texas.

– Sherman has us in the Holiday Bowl vs Iowa

CBS Sports – Alamo Bowl vs Texas

SB Nation – Alamo Bowl vs Texas

SI – Redbox Bowl vs Iowa

247 – Alamo Bowl vs Texas

I’m guessing those projecting Alamo Bowl have Wazzu beating us in the PAC-12 Championship game.

Unlikely WSU makes the NC playoff, so the best bet is for us to play Wazzu in the championship game and win. That would likely put us in the Rose and Wazzu in the Fiesta.

The Utes need to take one game at a time. I’m gonna subscribe to that philosophy. What the Utes need to do to beat Colorado next week. Take Shenault out of the game. . Period. End of story.

I stated a fact. “The winner of the Pac-12 Championship game is guaranteed the Rose Bowl.”

I didn’t say the Utes would win that game. They have to beat Colorad9 first.

The Rose Bowl deal with the Pac-12 actually has a provision to skip the Pac12 winner in the pecking order if the team has a poor record. So if a 5+ loss team sneaks a championship or whatever. Rose bowl isn’t guaranteed for the conference champ

That’s gotta be someone that doesn’t pay attention to the PAC-12. Incredible. OR, they’re assuming we lose out and ASU/USC win out? Either way, a 7 win Power 5 team most definitely doesn’t miss out on a bowl.
