Here is something that could really derail realignment. If all private school athletes are deemed “employees” it would really hinder things for these school as well as raise liability for the conferences. This could be a problem for SC
It’s hard for a school to defend their student-athlete position in legal proceedings, when they’re trying to increase their wealth from those sporting activities.
