Former Ute Grayson Murphy competes this evening for an Olympic steeplechase spot

EUGENE, Ore. – Former Utah five-time track and field All-American Grayson Murphy qualified for the finals of the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the U.S. Olympic Trials with the third-best qualifying time of the two heats.

Murphy gave a good showing tonight, but did not finish in the top three for Olympic Qualification. Excellent performance by our Ute alum!
