Sad thing with the NIL and portal now, I don’t see many players will have the same passion and relationship with their schools. Alex Smith, Steve Smith, Eric Weddle spent their college career in Utah and still representing. Now player only spend 1 or 2 year at a school or have gone to multiple schools, not sure how they feel about any of the schools they played for.
