What puzzles me is that redshirts are pretty much never revealed until late in the season. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

Whitt was saying yesterday on the radio that red shirts are pretty archaic and are going away.  Football is a win now mentality for sure.

I think Utah is in a real need this season slightly to get significant reps to this class.   Young Dline 2 and 3 deep.  Defensive backfield will be a question mark next season as well.  But at the same time you want to lean on the experienced guys and win.  Would be nice to have the offense blow teams out and perform to get the young guys reps.
