He gets enough touches on offense, kickoffs are essentially useless and he’s sketchy on punts. If he gets hurt on offense, so be it, but dont risk injury to him when its unnecessary.
Why would you limit his effectiveness? Covey is best in the open field. It’s more likely he would be in a position to use his skills off kicks. Plus did you see the hit he took earlier in the game off the reverse. Much worse than the hit that was involved in his injury. It’s football, injuries happen.
