it has been shut down to at least the first of April due to deep snow and concerns about stressing the already stressed wildlife.

people use them for decoration, to make art, just to have etc.  Every Spring deer, Elk, Moose etc drop their antlers and begin growning new ones shortly after that.  Some money can be made on them IF you like to hike all over AND haul them out

My coworker taught his dog to shed hunt. She loves to run around in the woods looking for them. They make great chew toys, but are pretty expensive to buy in the store. He has a big basket full of antlers and pieces in his garage.

I’ve thought about doing that with mine but I don’t want her doing it when we are pursuing upland game so I decided not to but I suspect she would be very good at it.  My GSP that is gun shy would excel at it, he brings all kinds of stuff back when we are out in the hills
