  WSU and OSU I feel bad. They have the best fan bases and I got along with all of their fans.
  
  Stanford and Cal will be fine. They will cry into their endowment funds.

    It’s an absolute shame that a top ten school with a phenomenal sports program like Stanford is left hanging just because its football program is not a priority to the school.

      They will be fine as an independent. Maybe if they pushed their money around to benefit the conference it would still be around.

      It is very lame!! I know Utah (for now) is in the “club”, but if it goes to the 32-team super league many are predicting, Utah could very easily be left out. This whole new era of conference alignment is NOT good!!!

        Salt Lake Market will not be left out. We need to stop being so insecure. Utah is probably adding a NHL and even a MLB team. It is an emerging market.

        I wish I had your optimism. If they go to 32, I don’t see how Utah gets in. If it’s up to 40 I think we have a chance.
