Here's the final pass from MyKayla Skinner's perfect floor routine! #goutes https://t.co/d7zcRABi4G

Even though Red Rocks scored a 197.5 you could tell they were a little shakey. Baely broke down and cried after every routine. Heavy night.
After Skinner almost fell on the beam I thought she lost the all around.
Never seen a near fall turned into swag. Crowd roared.
The paper made a mention of that, wish I could find a video of it.
I hope one surfaces. It catches you off guard because you never see a gymnast make light of a mistake. Never seen it before and will probably never see it again.
From my limited understanding of gymnastics, I get the impression that girl’s head is screwed on straight because despite all the Olympic “would’ve, could’ve”s, she is making her collegiate experience count.
Everything I read and watched supports what you say. The Pac-12 channel did a half hour show on Utah and UCLA gymnastics, along the lines of “The Drive” for football. There is a lot about Skinner in the show and she explains why she wanted to come here and compete within a team as opposed to being an individual.
Oh, here some info about it.
Red Rocks to Premiere on Pac-12 Networks
I’m sure it’s still running on the Pac-12 channel.
Our gymnasts are awesome, and MyKayla takes that awesome to an entirely different level. She will be fighting for the national individual title this year – and she deserves to be in the conversation!
