Guys… let’s look at this season with a little bit of perspective.
Guys, we lose two players next year. Bonham, and Bealer. Bonham is a vital player, but we do OK when he’s not in the game because we have some good guards. Bealer hasn’t been a factor this season. He’s a senior so he’ll be missed, but it won’t be as big of a factor this season.
So if we look at it this way… this season is just one big long learning lesson for the vast majority of this roster leading into next season.
I HATE TO SEE US LOSE.
But dammit, I’m encouraged by how close they came today to a team that is so skilled, and did so fighting through some ridiculous protective referee play. (No fouls for 11 minutes in the 2nd half? Seriously?)
We will not lose this game next season.
Also, side note – the JMHC was ROCKIN’. Full house all the way up all directions, well attended game. Other than the loss… that was a fun game to attend and be a part of.
