The Utes will be attempting to take the momentum from our Oregon State rout with them on the road, as they’ll travel south to take on the Arizona State Sun Devils on Friday night at 8 p.m. at the Sun Devil Soccer and Lacrosse Stadium in Tempe, Ariz.
The all-time series between Utah and ASU is all square in the form of a 6-6-3 record, but the Utes are 3-1-3 against the Sun Devils since 2015. That stretch includes a 1-0 Utah victory over then-No. 17 ASU in 2020 and a 2-0 road triumph in 2018. Prior to that, the Sun Devils had taken three-in-a-row, a streak that started with a 4-1 decision in 2012. The first time these programs locked horns was in 1997 for a match that ended in a 1-0 Ute victory.
