Will D-IA players transfer to D-IAA programs to compete in Spring ball?

What are the chances that some FBS players will transfer to FCS schools for Spring ball to get extra licks in (with a knowing wink from their FBS schools that they’ll transfer back for next fall)?

Pretty sure transfer rules still apply to all Division 1 schools in basketball & football regardless of A or AA.

You are probably correct. However, it is possible that transfer rules were loosened just as eligibility guidelines were, given the impact of COVID-19. Difficult to find such information on the NCAA website.
