They only spent half the game talking about it.
Thoughts on the game:
1. I love that Whit took some chances with the fake punt and onside kick. Both executed perfectly
2. Considering the starters that were out on defense, I thought they played well, got worn out at the end of the game.
3. I was impressed with Huntley and the receivers considering they were playing against the best D in the Pac 12.
4. After they stuffed Browning on 4th down they needed to go for the jugular on offense. They played it safe and Washington gashed our worn out D to tie the game. This is where I feel the game was lost, not trusting our passing game to get a few 1st downs. Not being able to move to ball in the last minute was the beginning of the end.
5. The time out was horrible in hind sight. It seemed that Peterson took it as a slight and rolled the dice. 2 huge plays against our worn out D and it was game over.
Overall I feel like our backups played well and offense showed some life. Damn, this one stung worse than any loss this year. So close
