I’ve heard the Shotgun is better for shorter qb’s, in helping them to see the way the defense is set up. It’s also better for mobile qb’s. Not sure if this is why. Just a guess.

Wilson will end up being a better quarterback for Utah than Rising, but right now Rising is the right choice. If he were in this game, we wouldn’t have left points on the board. I’m excited for Wilson and the future!

Cam’s numbers would have been just as big had he played more than one half. 5 touchdowns in one half! That’s huge! We also have more targets. McMillan was incredible, but I believe we can hold him to far below what he put up against NM.

It’s less about Jerome Myles and more a statement of where the program is that gets people excited to land him.

Good point about the off-season Utah.

I think we will see utah throw it more this year than Whit ever has thrown it. Part of that will be because our RBs may not be elite this year. Does Cam have it in him to average 333 yards per game this year? Not sure but the higher throwing average and lesser pass defense in the B12 may make it possible.

Last year Washington threw for 5155 yards and rushed for 1982. They ran approximately 42% and passed about 58%. They had two receivers with over 1000 yards in Odunze (1640) and Polk (1159).

Huard had some really bad games when he started for Washington, especially the Apple Cup. He also had some really amazing throws and has legit arm talent. Most of his bad decision making seems to have come from inexperience and forcing throws. Hopefully he can get those mistakes cleaned up when the game slows down for him.
