Am I the only one that thinks pretending that D-I football and basketball are about college is a complete joke.

I wonder how much USC plans to pay Myles, versus the Utah offer? The Southern California weather is mild, and USC is also pretty formidable academically, although this is probably irrelevant to most D-I football players, it’s not like you’re talking about the UU ski team, who compete for NCAA titles every year while skiers are majoring in…[Read more]

I usually take a measured and reserved opinion regarding the relative merits of future Utah opponents, but if Bad Moon Rising plays in the game against tEaM dWN soUTh then the Provostan Madrasa is going to get their butts kicked.
The zOob QB is below average, SMU’s is even worse, he can’t run, can’t pass, and is a poor decision maker.

Living out of state I haven’t been to a U football or basketball game in a couple years. I plan to reach a Rice-Eccles stadium entrance at least 30 minutes before kick off. Over the decades I too have never left a UU football or basketball game early.

Government and business lack the guts to implement E-Verify.
Prices of many things would go up 10-20%. Just like they would if Asian and Latin American countries rigorously enforced child labor laws.
Santa Maria California agriculture pretends to be red blooded conservative, except when E-Verify talk gets serious. This mornings L.A. Times…[Read more]
