Charlie Foxtrot replied to the topic Anyone have a plumber reference? in the forum Misc 4 days, 14 hours ago
Mine is directly after the shut off valve for the main water into the house. So waterline comes in from outside – shut off valve – pressure reducing valve. It’s there because it was the most convenient place to get access to it, so that is where we chose to install it. When I moved into the house the pressure reducing valve was up in the…[Read more]

Charlie Foxtrot replied to the topic Anyone have a plumber reference? in the forum Misc 4 days, 18 hours ago
Tony, it’s likely you have a bad pressure reducing valve. I had the same issue a few months back, terrible hammering noises and pipes shaking. The part itself is about $280 (at least to replace what I had with the same thing). My dad was a plumber (long since retired) so luckily I have a certain amount of knowledge as well as access to tools if…[Read more]

Charlie Foxtrot replied to the topic Stealing signs…by radio? in the forum Football 1 week ago
So the whole point of the radio thing is to deal with sign stealing and you roll out an unencrypted system that is open to anyone? What a joke.

Charlie Foxtrot replied to the topic Not hearing a damn thing about STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING in the forum Football 2 weeks, 1 day ago
Injuries to your feet and the resulting instability are hard to overcome for non athletes let alone football players. I popped my cuboid bone out of place and the amount of physical therapy, including bi-weekly treatments and taping was several months long. All that did was just keep it in place and make my foot stable again. I had to…[Read more]

Well, if nothing else he nailed that media availability session. I liked his sense of humor. Hopefully things start trending in the right direction for the offense.

Charlie Foxtrot replied to the topic Per Coach Whitt about Ludwig in the forum Football 2 weeks, 3 days ago
Total speculation on my part, but I bet the offensive players had been giving their respective position coaches an ear full for the past several weeks. Most likely the receivers and the tight ends have been the loudest. So the noise has probably been making it’s way up the chain with Ludwig knowing it’s his system that is failing.
If the…[Read more]

Charlie Foxtrot replied to the topic Few projections have Boise State with 1st Round Bye in the forum Football 2 weeks, 3 days ago
This is the problem with a system where the best teams from either the Big 12 or ACC start the season unranked or barely in the top 25. The B1G or SEC don’t need to worry about having their conference champions bumped for a G5 but the Big 12 and ACC certainly do.
If Boise St. does get a 1st round bye then I hope they get matched up against a B1G…[Read more]

Charlie Foxtrot replied to the topic How did we lose to AZ? They get seal clubbed by all other B12 teams. in the forum Football 2 weeks, 4 days ago
Multiple trips to the red zone with no points in the first half of that game put is in a position to have to try and play from behind in the second half. Throw in a freshman QB with the inevitable mistakes trying to be aggressive in the “throw game” and you get a big fat loss.

Charlie Foxtrot replied to the topic Season Ending. Farewell Cam Rising. in the forum Football 3 weeks, 2 days ago
After seeing the replay of him getting rolled up on, it doesn’t surprise me that whatever the injuries are that they are season ending. He had limited mobility the entire game and I bet it’s even worse now. I hope that continuing to play on it didn’t aggravate or make things worse. At this point he needs to think about the kind of mobility and…[Read more]

Before we can worry about the playoffs, we need to figure out how to beat “Red Zone” on a consistent basis

Especially after a by week. There should have been plenty of time to work on Red Zone execution. As well as try to suss out what hasn’t been working over the last two games and make changes.

Especially in the online world we all live in today. It only fuels the flames of rampant speculation waiting for some insider to smuggle out the information and give it to Brent McMurphy.

Charlie Foxtrot started the topic Scally's last second play calls in the forum Football 3 weeks, 5 days ago
I don’t think the last second play calling is working any longer. Honestly I think our opponents are using it to their advantage. Several times a game the D-line is looking over to the side of the field when the ball is snapped and quite frankly that is giving the advantage to the O line just in reaction time alone.
There were several big plays…[Read more]

Charlie Foxtrot replied to the topic Did fans and the media factor into their decision to go w/ Cam? in the forum Football 3 weeks, 5 days ago
All I can say is sometimes as a head coach you need to do what is best for the team. After Cam got rolled up and couldn’t plant his right foot to throw, that combined with the issue with his throwing hand and two first half interceptions should have made the choice to pull him and easy one.
I don’t question Cams toughness or his willingness to…[Read more]

Charlie Foxtrot replied to the topic What will it take to become respectable in basketball again in the forum Basketball (Men) 3 weeks, 6 days ago
I am hoping that being in a new conference helps. There has got to be some overlooked talent in new recruiting areas that Utah has access to now we are Big 12 members.

Charlie Foxtrot replied to the topic Speaking of Analytics in the forum Football 4 weeks, 1 day ago
I don’t disagree with what you are saying at all. MB is a stud and I wouldn’t have a problem giving him all the inside the 10 reps. I think the main issue is there is such a drop off in the RB room after him that they are probably trying to not get him beat up in multiple short yardage runs during the course of a game. The problem is that if we…[Read more]

Charlie Foxtrot replied to the topic Speaking of Analytics in the forum Football 4 weeks, 1 day ago
We also don’t have a dependable short yardage back who is capable of shedding tackles near the goal line. I give Micah Bernard all of the props in the world, but he does not have the right body type and there is a considerable drop off after him in the current RB room. Combine that with a true freshman QB and that is a lot of pressure on IW…[Read more]

Charlie Foxtrot replied to the topic How are we feeling? in the forum Football 1 month ago
I had a deep cut on my right hand index finger that required two layers of stitching. One set of dissolving inside and then the normal stitches on the outside. It took 3 days for the lidocaine to clear out of my finger because of the amount of swelling. Not knowing if I had nerve damage for several days was not fun. Even after I regained the…[Read more]

Charlie Foxtrot replied to the topic Friday Night Big12 – Houston at TCU in the forum Football 1 month ago
I’ll admit I haven’t watched any TCU games this year, but how does this team have 3 wins? The defense is atrocious and the offense has only had 1 good series the entire first half.
